Let's talk about the issue of the day: the Presidential election.  Now to be honest, I get real tired real fast of all the advertisements for each candidate, because all they do is bash their opponent instead of discuss the issues and their own approach to them.  They basically say that this President has run this country into the ground, or this candidate is going to ruin the economy.  Next it's going to be saying "Mitt Romney eats little children for breakfast" or something ridiculous like that.  I also get frustrated with the Presidential debates.  It's stupid how they have those two candidates in one room, where they each get a minute or so to answer a question on their views of the issues.  Mostly they say how they are better than the other candidate and point out all the things their opponents have done wrong.
One thing I thought was bad on their part is that neither candidate, not once, in any of the debates said a word about the most threatening problem in our world, climate change. We all know how bad the climate has become, and we have all heard of the energy crisis.  America needs to invest in green energy, whether it is solar, wind, hydropower, etc.  But none of the candidates said anything about their plans for this.  Alternative energy and climate change could be the single most important issue in the world in a few years, because it has the power to drastcically change our lifestyle if something is not done to help this.
Another thing that was brought to my attention is the that some members of the Supreme Court could be retiring soon, and it is up to the President to elect their replacement.  This could mean that whoever the President chooses could sway their decisions for many years to come. which could have a huge effect on all the issues.
Overall I think we need to elect Obama again.  First of all, Obamacare has done much more good than harm.  It brings some form of health care to everybody, where as
Romney's ideas will make health care based on income, so only those who can pay will receive health care.  I would like to go to college sooner or later, and I'm not sure if I will be able to pay for it if Romney is President.  They say Obama hasn't made any progress, well, he had a pretty big mess to clean up that's going to take a little longer than 4 years to fix.  Let's hope America makes the right decision.
